Drama
Drama has been so much fun this year. Myself, Anna
and Mia are the three from TY but there are also others from fifth year doing
drama this year. Ms Carney has chosen a brilliant and emotive play for us to perform in
school, at the St. Andrew’s Drama Festival and at The Bray One Act Festival.
Our play is called ‘Hospital Food’ By Eugene O’Hare
and is based around ten teenagers who were diagnosed with cancer and are all
living in a hospital. These teenagers have a bond like no other and when one of
the most-loved teenagers tells the others some heart-breaking news – everyone’s
bond is really tested.
I am so looking forward to playing Elsie in the play
and it will be such a fab experience to perform in front of people who really
want to see a good play. We will be judged by a panel of adjudicators and
hopefully someone from our drama group will win best actor or actress.
